Last Updated: 9 October 2026

At mypartyandmore, we are committed to delivering high-quality printed products and excellent customer service.

As a specialist printing company, many of our products are made to order, personalised or printed using artwork supplied by our customers.

We ask all customers to carefully review their orders, artwork and personalisation details before making payment.

Please read our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy before placing an order.

1. Personalised & Custom-Made Products

Most of our products are produced specifically to each customer’s requirements. These may include:

  • Personalised correx backdrops and event boards.
  • Wedding welcome signs and seating plans.
  • Custom photo boards and birthday signs.
  • Personalised banners, posters and event signage.
  • Custom-shaped cutouts and display boards.
  • Products printed using customer-supplied artwork.
  • Bespoke designs, dimensions and personalised messages.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, products genuinely made to a customer’s specifications or clearly personalised are generally exempt from the standard 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns or offer change-of-mind refunds for products that are genuinely personalised or made to a customer’s specifications.

This exemption may apply from the time the contract is made, even if production has not yet started.

However, we may consider cancellation requests before production begins at our discretion.

Please note that products manufactured after an order is placed are not automatically considered personalised or bespoke. Where statutory cancellation rights apply, these will be honoured.

This policy does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or not supplied in accordance with your order.

2. Non-Personalised Products

For eligible standard, non-personalised products purchased online, customers have the legal right to cancel within 14 days after receiving their goods without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, please contact us within the cancellation period and clearly state that you wish to cancel your purchase.

Once you notify us of your cancellation, you must return the goods within a further 14 days.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind returns, provided this has been disclosed before purchase.

Products should be securely packaged and returned with all supplied components.

Customers may inspect products as they would in a physical shop. However, a deduction may be made where handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product has reduced its value.

This section does not apply to genuinely personalised or bespoke products exempt from the cancellation right.

3. Order Cancellations & Amendments

We understand that circumstances may change after an order has been placed.

If you wish to cancel or amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Before Production

Where an order is genuinely personalised or bespoke, we may consider a cancellation or amendment request before production begins.

Any voluntary refund may take account of design or preparation work already completed, where appropriate and previously agreed.

After Production Has Started

Once production has begun on a genuinely personalised or bespoke order, we will generally be unable to accept change-of-mind cancellations or offer refunds.

This is because materials may already have been allocated, artwork prepared or printing commenced specifically for your order.

After Dispatch

Personalised or bespoke products cannot generally be returned simply because the customer has changed their mind.

All applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Customer-Supplied Artwork & Design Approval

At mypartyandmore, we operate as a professional printing service.

Customers supplying their own artwork are responsible for ensuring that their files are suitable for printing.

We require artwork to be supplied in a high-resolution, print-ready PDF format at the correct dimensions.

Customers should check:

  • Spelling, names, dates and personalisation details.
  • Colours and design layout.
  • Image quality and resolution.
  • Correct dimensions and orientation.
  • Fonts and graphic elements.
  • Placement of text and images.
  • Any other details specific to the order.

Where a design proof is provided, customers must carefully review it before approving production.

Once a customer approves a design or supplies final print-ready artwork, we will print according to the approved specifications.

We cannot ordinarily offer a free reprint or refund for mistakes present in customer-supplied or customer-approved artwork, including spelling mistakes, incorrect names, dates or design elements, where the finished product accurately reflects that artwork.

However, if an error occurs during our printing or production process, we will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

Nothing in this section excludes our responsibility to provide printing services with reasonable care and skill.

5. AI-Generated Images & Low-Resolution Artwork

We strongly discourage customers from submitting unsuitable AI-generated images or low-resolution artwork for large-format printing.

Images that appear clear on a mobile phone or computer screen may become blurry, distorted or pixelated when enlarged for backdrops, banners or display boards.

Customers are responsible for the quality and suitability of their supplied artwork.

Where we identify an obvious issue with the resolution or print quality before production, we may contact the customer and request a replacement file.

If a customer chooses to proceed after being advised of a known quality concern, we will not ordinarily offer a free reprint or refund solely for the disclosed and accepted limitation.

This does not affect your rights if we fail to provide the agreed printing service with reasonable care and skill.

6. Colour Variations

We make every reasonable effort to reproduce colours accurately.

However, slight colour differences may occur between the appearance of a design on a digital screen and the final printed product.

This may be due to:

  • Differences between RGB screen colours and CMYK printing.
  • Individual monitor or mobile screen settings.
  • Printing materials and finishes.
  • Colour profiles and printing processes.

Minor colour variations within reasonable printing tolerances do not automatically constitute a fault.

If you require a specific colour match, please contact us before ordering to discuss whether a physical sample or colour-matching service is available.

Where an agreed colour specification has not been met, we will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

7. Damaged or Faulty Products

We take great care when preparing, printing and packaging orders.

However, if your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

We kindly request that visible transit damage is reported within 24 hours of delivery wherever possible.

Please provide:

  1. Your order number.
  2. Clear photographs of the damaged or faulty item.
  3. Photographs of the external packaging.
  4. A brief explanation of the issue.

Please retain the original packaging while we investigate.

Once we have reviewed the information, we may arrange a replacement, repair or refund, depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights.

Important: The 24-hour reporting request is intended to help us investigate courier-related damage promptly. It is not a strict deadline for exercising your legal rights.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers have statutory remedies for goods that are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

These rights include a short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods within 30 days and, in other circumstances, rights to repair, replacement or refund.

8. Incorrect Items or Printing Errors

If we have supplied an incorrect product or made an error during printing or production, please contact us with your order number and photographs.

Examples may include:

  • Incorrect dimensions compared with the agreed order.
  • Printing the wrong approved design.
  • Missing items or components.
  • Incorrect materials or product specifications.
  • Production errors affecting the quality or usability of the item.

Where the error is our responsibility, we will arrange a suitable remedy at no additional cost, in accordance with your statutory rights.

We may request additional information or photographs to help us identify and resolve the issue.

9. Large-Format Boards, Folding & Assembly

Some large-format correx boards and backdrops are supplied folded or in sections to make shipping more practical.

Customers should read the relevant product descriptions before purchasing.

Please note:

  • Some boards may have fold lines.
  • Larger displays may require joining or assembly.
  • Stands may require simple assembly.
  • Instructions may be supplied where applicable.

Where these features have been clearly explained before purchase, they will not ordinarily be treated as defects simply because assembly is required or a disclosed fold line is present.

However, products must still match their descriptions, be of satisfactory quality and meet applicable consumer rights.

Damage caused by incorrect assembly, misuse or failure to follow reasonable instructions will be assessed individually.

10. Returns Procedure

If you believe your item is eligible for return, please contact us before sending it back.

Please provide your order number and reason for return.

Where a return is appropriate, we will provide instructions and the relevant return address.

Please do not return items without first contacting us, as this may delay identification and processing of your return. This request does not restrict your statutory right to cancel an eligible order.

For change-of-mind returns of eligible non-personalised products, customers are responsible for return delivery costs where this was disclosed before purchase.

Where products are faulty, incorrect or otherwise fail to meet statutory requirements, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service and retaining proof of postage.

11. Refund Processing Times

Once a refund has been approved, it will normally be issued using the original payment method unless another method has been expressly agreed.

For eligible change-of-mind cancellations, refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.

Where applicable, the refund will include the original standard delivery charge.

Additional charges for upgraded delivery services, such as express shipping, do not normally have to be refunded beyond the cost of the standard delivery option.

For refunds due under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we will comply with the applicable statutory refund deadlines.

The time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

No unauthorised refund administration fees will be charged.

12. Event Dates & Late Delivery

We understand that many of our products are required for weddings, birthdays, celebrations and other important occasions.

Customers are strongly encouraged to order well in advance of their event.

Our standard production time is generally 5–7 working days, excluding delivery.

Customers requiring delivery by a specific date must inform us before placing an order and obtain written confirmation that the deadline can be accommodated.

Providing an event date does not automatically mean that delivery by that date has been guaranteed.

Where an agreed essential delivery deadline is missed, or where applicable statutory delivery requirements are not met, customers will be entitled to the remedies provided by UK consumer law.

Where no essential deadline was agreed, we will assess delays and cancellation requests in accordance with those legal requirements.

13. Refused Deliveries & Uncollected Parcels

If a customer refuses delivery or fails to collect a parcel, please contact us to discuss the circumstances.

For eligible non-personalised products, statutory cancellation rights will apply.

For personalised or bespoke goods, refusing delivery does not automatically create a right to a change-of-mind refund.

Where an order must be returned or redelivered because of an incorrect address or failure to collect it, reasonable additional shipping charges may apply where legally permitted.

If an order is lost or damaged during delivery, we will investigate and fulfil our legal responsibilities.

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where there is any inconsistency between this policy and applicable consumer law, the law will take precedence.
